2026 FIFA World Cup Schedule: Full Group Stage Fixtures and Knockout Rounds
The world is gearing up for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, the largest tournament in the event’s history, set to unfold across North America. With 104 matches hosted across 11 U.S. cities, along with venues in Mexico and Canada, this expanded World Cup promises a global football spectacle unlike any before.
The tournament officially kicks off on June 11, 2026, with co-host Mexico playing the opening match in Mexico City. A day later, the United States will begin its campaign in Los Angeles, while Canada starts its run in Toronto. A total of 48 national teams will compete. The top two teams from each group, along with the eight best third-place finishers, will move on to the newly introduced Round of 32, beginning on June 28.
