Miss Tahiti Crowned Miss France 2026: A Memorable Edition Highlighted by Miss Nouvelle-Calédonie 2026
The long-awaited Miss France 2026 ceremony delivered an unforgettable night of elegance and emotion. After months of preparation and nationwide anticipation, 23-year-old Hinaupoko Devèze, Miss Tahiti, was crowned Miss France 2026, succeeding Angélique Angarni-Filopon.
Held at the Zénith in Amiens, the event brought together thirty contestants from mainland France and the overseas territories, all showcasing charisma, elegance, and intelligence. For more than three hours, the audience enjoyed a dazzling show filled with choreography, interviews, and spectacular gowns. In the end, it was Miss Tahiti who captured the crown.
Exceptional Final Rankings Featuring Miss Nouvelle-Calédonie 2026
The final results highlighted the strong presence of candidates from the French territories.
Fourth runner-up: Deborah Adelin-Chabal, Miss Roussillon
Third runner-up: Naomi Torrent, Miss Guadeloupe
Second runner-up: Victoire Dupuis, Miss Normandy
First runner-up: Juliette Collet, Miss Nouvelle-Calédonie 2026, whose emotional performance deeply moved both the jury and the audience
Her remarkable journey and heartfelt speeches made Miss Nouvelle-Calédonie 2026 one of the standout figures of this year’s pageant.
A Highly Competitive Top 12
Hinaupoko Devèze earned her place in the crown after being selected among the 12 semifinalists, a group that included:
Miss Champagne-Ardenne, Miss Languedoc, Miss Auvergne (top scorer in the general knowledge test), Miss Côte d’Azur, Miss Île-de-France, Miss Limousin, and Miss Picardie.
A Year of Guidance Ahead
Camille Cerf, Miss France 2015 and now a popular TV presenter, will accompany the new Miss France throughout her year-long reign.
According to Frédéric Gilbert, president of the Miss France Organization, “No one is better than a former Miss France to explain the responsibilities, challenges, and symbolic weight of the crown.”
Artificial Intelligence Predictions Missed the Mark
In the days leading up to the event, several AI models attempted to forecast the outcome. Data firm Avisia predicted Lola Lacheré, Miss Nord-Pas-de-Calais, as the likely winner. The algorithms also expected two overseas candidates—Miss Tahiti Hinaupoko Devèze and Miss Guadeloupe Naomi Torrent—to rank high. While partly accurate, the AI failed to predict the emotional rise of Miss Nouvelle-Calédonie 2026, who ultimately claimed the position of first runner-up.
