Rob Reiner and Wife Michele Singer Reiner Found Dead at Brentwood Home; Son Identified by Sources
Hollywood director Rob Reiner and his wife, Michele Singer Reiner, were found dead at their Los Angeles home on Sunday afternoon, according to multiple sources familiar with the investigation.
First responders were called to the couple’s Brentwood residence at approximately 3:30 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 14, the Los Angeles Fire Department confirmed to PEOPLE. Upon arrival, emergency personnel discovered a 78-year-old man and a 68-year-old woman deceased at the scene. Sources later identified the victims as Rob Reiner and his wife, Michele.
Sources Say Son Nick Reiner Was Involved
Multiple sources tell PEOPLE that the couple’s son, Nick Reiner, was responsible for their deaths. Authorities have not yet released official details regarding the circumstances, and the investigation remains ongoing.

Emergency Response at Brentwood Residence
The LAFD stated that firefighters were dispatched to provide medical aid following a call for assistance. When crews arrived, both individuals were pronounced dead at the scene. No additional information has been publicly released by law enforcement at this time.
